On 9 March 2004 some of San Francisco's most talented queer crip writers gathered for another reading from "Queer Crips: Disabled Gay Men and Their Stories."

"QC" editors Bob Guter and John Killacky (L. and R., above) were pleased to have this reading supported by Modern Times, San Francisco's preeminent progressive bookstore, collectively owned and operated since 1971.

The audience gathers (above and below).

Ask your local independent bookstore to stock "Queer Crips," order it from any standard online source, or directly from the publisher, Haworth Press.

"Queer Crips" is a finalist for a 2004 Lambda Literary Award in the category "nonfiction anthology." The awards will be announced in June at a ceremony in Chicago.
